Always look forward to the new Colorado Fourteeners calendar. Always spectacular pictures. A nice way to spend the winter waiting for the mountains to open up again.

One of my favorite calendars that I get every year. Makes you want to drop everything and go outside and hike. I love the perspective of the photos. Like the view you would see if you were hiking these peaks. Not the usual distance view that you can get from a postcard.

Just as beautiful as always; bought one every year since 2007.

I brought this calendar for my mom we are from Colorado but no longer live there but we miss it. So the calendar allows us to enjoy some beautiful pictures of Colorado.

The 2017 Fourteeners calendar has some impressive photographs. This year, the 14ers pictured are: Mount Yale, Kit Carson Mountain, El Diente Peak, Mount Democrat, Quandary Peak, San Luis Peak, Mount Massive, Mount Eolus, Blanca Peak, Ellingwood Point, Pikes Peak, Mount Evans, Maroon & North Maroon Peaks, Missouri Mountain, and Mount Columbia. Of these sixteen, I have done eleven.This calendar provides a standard presentation of each month divided into a grid of five weeks. There is also a page for November/December 2016. Each page is placed below a mountain photograph page. The pages are fourteen by eleven inches. Each day in the calendar grid has its own 1-7/8 by 1-7/8 inch box, leaving sufficient space for notes. Astronomical events and holidays are indicated.I recommend this calendar for anyone who is a fourteener fanatic or who likes mountain photographs. Pretty basic. Every roper has its own style and Roy has the ability to pass knowledge in his words. Pretty nice tricks and corrections. Very useful Tips. Photos not that great but its an old edition. Cant expect much really because there are in B&W photos.

This is a great book for calf ropers of all levels, very detailed and better then the majority of instructional DVDs out there. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

Iloved that somebody wrote a book about calf roping and the person that did is one of my rodeo heros. It's a wonderful book to learn about calf roping and could not have been written by a better person.

Mel Bay always brings up imagines of guitar players beginner books. However, this is a great book of usable, beautiful descants for the working trumpet player. These are all well known church pieces that are currently being in traditional churches and they will and can be used very easily in that setting. The descants are written in the most common keys for the pieces. Great selection and beautiful descants, very high quality.

I use it with Bb soprano and bass clarinet and it compliments the piano nicely. Pretty easy to just sight read. We use "The Hymnal for Worship & Celebration" and of the ones I've used, 95% are in the right key for that book.

Good material

Book has a very wide selection of hymns, most in keys which will work well with our hymnal. I love that is has melody line, a harmonization part plus a descant.

good music book

I bought this book when I was a senior in high school in the spring of 1989, and I have used this book a lot over the years. It contains 80 or so of the most commonly used church hymns in the keys where they are the most commonly played, so many times you don't even have to worry about transposing - just play what's written on the page. The descants all seem to be fairly well written - ornamental without being too difficult, flowery or off the wall. Each hymn is set up with a stave where the top line is the descant line, but the bottom line contains melody and harmony parts. This makes it good to use for two players too so that depending on how many stanzas the hymn goes through, the two players can play melody and harmony, and then split to melody/descant the final time through.I have also used this book using D and Eb trumpets, but that requires transposition - it would be nice if this book had a companion book that was written for Eb and D, but transposing has been easy enough.I used this book about 2 weeks ago at a paid gig, and I'll use it again this coming Sunday at another paid gig. I never leave home for any church gig without taking it, and it has come in handy more times than I can count.

Typical hymn book for instrument. Have not yet checked to see if hymns are written in same concert key as most hymn books. Fairly simple music, maybe grade 2 or 3.
